All of me - John Legend
Drawing me in and you kicking me out?
Got my head spinning, no kidding
I can't pin you down
What's going on in that beautiful mind?
I'm on your magical mystery ride
And I'm so dizzy, don't know what hit me
But I'll be alright
My head's underwater
But I'm breathing fine
You're crazy and I'm outta my mind
Cause all of me loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me, I'll give my all to you
You're my end and my beginning
Even when I lose, I'm winning
Cause I give you all of me
And you give me all of you, oh
How many times do I have to tell you
Even when you're crying, you're beautiful too?
The world is beating you down
I'm around through every move
You're my downfall, you're my muse
My worst distraction, my rhythm and blues
Can't stop singing, this ringing in my head for you
My head's underwater
But I'm breathing fine
You're crazy and I'm outta my mind
Cause all of me loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me, I'll give my all to you
You're my end and my beginning
Even when I lose, I'm winning
Cause I give you all of me
And you give me all, all of you
Cards on the table
We're both showing hearts
Risking it all though it's hard
Cause all of me loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me
I'll give my all to you
You're my end and my beginning
Even when I lose, I'm winning
Cause I give you all of me
You give me all, all of you, oh
I give you all, all of me, yeah,
And you give me all, all of you, oh
I chose this song to be related with the feelings of Hamlet because it some how describes what he feels for Ophelia in the novel. The song "All of Me" describes how in love this man is of that woman, and how bad is he willing to give all of him to her, if she gives him the same. It also shows that even if he is under problems or certain pressure he is willing to feel all that love for her, and to give all what he cans to her, if she is willing to do the same. In the novel, Hamlet feelings for Ophelia are really deep and he is truly in love of her. Apparently she is also really in love of Hamlet, and they have this kind of secret relationship during a certain period of the act. They both know that the relationship is not permitted by Polonius, Ophelia's dad, and they are constantly hiding this relationship from everybody including Polonius. Until this period of time, both of them are willing to continue with this relationship and to give all from both. This was the main reason that the song "All of Me", from John Legend relates to the act.
